Worship on the Water is a seasonal ministry of Christ Episcopal Church, Cordele, Georgia. We worship at The Resort Dock on Lake Blackshear from Memorial Day Sunday through Labor Day Sunday at 9 a.m.

On pretty days, we gather, by boat, by jet ski, by foot and by car to worship alongside the dock of the Resort. When rain requires, we gather under the screened gazebo adjacent to the shore.

We come from as close as the campground and Resort, and from as far away as England. Our register is starting to look like an atlas.

The worship is informal, and dogs belong; Canada geese often accompany our music and singing. Boat attire is expected, and whether you come by land or water, there's a place for you.

Music for our last services will be:   Charlie Hariston on the 22nd of August, Jerry Hill on the 29th of August and Joyful Noise will perform on the Labor Day weekend - September 5th, the last weekend of Worship on the Water.
